Bisque conference table
2013
The conference room was at the top of a narrow set of stairs so I made the table in three pieces and assembled it on site.
Two glass 'portholes' were recessed into the table either end to view the Classic radiators used as legs. These radiators are lit at night using electroluminescent tape.
A side table of the same design was also constructed.

The client commisioned me to design and build the frame for a sofa that converts from a 2-seater to a 4-seater and then a bed.
During the build it appeared that the cushions also lent themselves to being used as a 3-seater too, increasing its adaptability.

The client required some imposing shelves that would not be lost in her tall apartment.
After proposing several different concepts the client decided upon this box design.
MDF components were CNC cut by TradeCNC and assembled and installed by myself.
extending kitchen table

Within a very tight space envelope, the client required a table that extended from a 2-seater to a 4-seater.
Consideration had to be given to the placement of the legs to allow diners to sit around the table and be able to get in and out without obstruction.
To this end I decided on a three legged design with one leg kinked to allow diners to slide into place without hitting their knees.
dalek lamp

During a factory visit, the client was given a sheet of aluminium showing the various mechanical operations they could perform on it.
My brief was to turn this into a lamp.
The end result was an adaptable design that can either be pendant or table mounted.
